When a loved one passes, Akhirah is here to guide your family with compassion, clarity, and Islamic care. Our team can help coordinate the next steps, including transportation through a licensed funeral home, ghusl, kafan, Janazah prayer, and burial at Akhirah.

Contact family, close relatives, and your local mosque or Akhirah. We are here to guide you every step of the way.

Call Akhirah to inform us of the passing. We will explain the next steps and coordinate everything with you.

Akhirah can assist in coordinating with a licensed funeral home for transportation, paperwork, permits, and other required arrangements. Families may also choose their own funeral home.

Transportation of the deceased is handled by a licensed funeral home. Akhirah can help guide this process, or families may arrange transportation through a funeral home of their choice.

The deceased arrives at Akhirah and is received by our care team with respect and dignity.

The body is respectfully placed in our on-site refrigeration unit (ghusl pending).

Our team verifies all details, coordinates with the family, and confirms burial arrangements.

We provide support and guidance to the family regarding the process, timelines, and next steps.

Trained staff will perform the Islamic ritual washing in our on-site body cleaning & preparation room with utmost care and respect.

The deceased is dressed in clean, white kafan according to Islamic tradition.

The body is prepared for the Janazah prayer. Family is notified when ready.

The Janazah prayer is held in the Akhirah mosque. All are welcome to attend.

After the prayer, the deceased is taken to the Akhirah graveyard with dignity.

The deceased is laid to rest in accordance with Islamic tradition (facing Qibla).

The grave is filled, and a dua is made for the deceased.

Akhirah remains here to support the family with condolences, resources, and any future needs.
